DAKS Pony Club Mounted Games
The DAKS Pony Club Mounted Games take place throughout the week at Royal Windsor with the final and trophy presentations being held on the Sunday.
The Mounted Games take place in the main Castle Arena. They are fun for all the family. Teams from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland compete against each other and it’s a real opportunity to get behind your country’s team and show your support.
The Pony Club also run their Tetrathlon competition and Pony Club jumping competition at the show.
Skill at Arms and Tent Pegging
These military equestrian competitions date back to the 1700s and you can see the present day Army showing the horsemanship, accuracy and determination needed to showcase these specific skills. These competitions take place in the Castle Arena.
Best Turned Out Trooper
Each year at Royal Windsor the Troopers of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment are judged on their turnout and appearance for the much coveted prize of ‘The Best Turned Out Trooper’. The competition takes place in the Castle Arena and is a chance to see the ‘ceremonial’ side of the Household Cavalry outside of London.

Fun at the Fair
If you wish to take a break from the equestrian competition and displays, the old fashioned fun fair has much to offer. With swinging chairs, a merry-go-round, ferris wheel and helter skelter there is plenty to keep the children occupied.
The Land Rover Driving Experience Course
Test Land Rover’s latest models to the limit as you drive around their hair-raising course known as ‘The Terrapod’.
